"What is your meaning in life?"
A friend asked this question.
I thought definitely not going through the day and dying at the end of the day.
There is so much more to life than just living and dying. More than just trying to make it through the day. More than the eyes alone can see.
I believe, each and everyone of us have a purpose for our very existance. I'm sure qeustions have run through our heads like why am I on earth? What in the world is my purpose in life? What am I meant to be?
I will tell you, go read the purpose driven life! Haha...
Well, I just believe that I have a destiny and though I may not know it now, I know that whatever I am going through right now will only prepare me for my greater purpose what ever that is anyway. Now, I dont know what is the meaning of my life but I am holding on to that hope that I have a destiny. I will embrace whatever shit and sweets life throws at me cause as I said before what ever I am going through right now will only make me a better person. So one day, I will be able to soar like an eagle in the eye of the storm.
I wrote a poem that I thought maybe I will share cause I really think that poems are a good way to convey what one is feeling inside. My poem dont rhyme cause I dont think it will make any sense if it is rhyming.

that flame of friendship
that is slowly dying out
It's cold
the chill seeps into my bones
leaving me shivering
the ashes as my companion
It remains as
a blue rhapsody
of what used to be
once upon a time
Where have the purity gone?
the laughter, the joy
Like a beautiful flower
that only just bloomed at dawn
only to wither
at dusk
Can friends be friends
once yet again?
Can that joy never return?
My friend...
why so cold
the distance between us
wide as the ocean
Was I wrong to believe
friendship last forever
and you my friend
was placed in my life for a reason
Am I wrong?
Pray, tell me
tell me the reasons
for the distance
the laughter for tears
Am I only to look
back at the sweet memories
savouring the sweetness of
Friendship....
